Greetings from Denali National Park & Preserve

One night I got up to use the outhouse and looked up into the eyes of a magnificent wolf. I heard myself speaking softly, “ You are a beautiful animal” as I slowly backed up to the tent. It is a moment I will never forget and a place I did not want to leave. The wilderness gives me peace and renews my spirit each time i enter a wild space.

Sincerely,
Nan
