My partner and I started traveling full-time in November 2019, with a goal of visiting all of the National Parks. So far we have gone to 46/63 parks. We met in a hiking meetup at Pinnacles National Park. Then we traveled to Alaska and visited Denali National Park. We decided that we wanted to try to visit all of the National Parks in a year and the only way to do that was to quit our jobs, sell our belongings and just do it. We were not able to visit all of the National Parks in one year due to some obstacles in 2020. When Covid-19 hit the country we quarantined for 3 months on the east coast, along with the rest of the world. When we arrived on the west coast again, we encountered the wildfires and had to find indoor shelter while that was happening. Luckily we’ve met a lot of amazing people on the road with similar mindsets and lifestyles. We love being outdoors and are glad that there are places like the National Parks that are protected for future generations to enjoy as well.
Sincerely,
Denali National Park & Preserve
