I had the opportunity to spend July 4th, 2014 in Denali National Park with my husband and our two children. It was the least typical Fourth of July I have ever had. No fireworks. No parade. Just the unbelievable vastness and beauty of the wilderness. This is the America I want to celebrate. I may have returned home to the lower 48, but my heart remains in Alaska!
Sincerely,
Denali National Park & Preserve
