Leveraging National Park Partnerships in Urban Areas

Partnerships Toolkit (1.49 MB)

Do you engage in partnerships to achieve your mission? Does it work well? Would you like to strike up new and different types of partnerships?

Leveraging National Parks Partnerships in Urban Areas is a toolkit that distills the findings of over 30 interviews conducted with national park staff and partners in six urban, or near-urban, parks that are widely considered to partner well. This Toolkit highlights considerations for parks and partners who are thinking about a partnership, provides checklists and ideas to make sure a partnership is working well, and includes exercises to help you think creatively about engaging new partners.
