1971, stationed at NAS Alameda, in VR30. A buddy and I made the trip to see the Icon. We were just blow away! Seeing the valley in person was a life changing experience, I’ve never forgotten. I’ve been to more and have more to go. Everyone should have the opportunity to see as many of our Nat Parks as possible.
