Many years ago, we were heading from Florida to Washington, D.C. We decided to take a side trip through the Great Smokies. Our children were under six years old. We had a very short time to visit, but we vowed to come back, and come back we did! We introduced our children to hiking! Since then, we have hiked many mountain trails, including Mt. LeConte, in the Great Smokies! We also visited many other parks since then! It is the wonderful memories of the parks that keep me going through this difficult time due to the coronavirus. Memories of the parks, and making plans to visit other parks when they are once again open!
Sincerely,
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
