We just spent a night at the National Park Inn at Mount Ranier. Such a beautiful place, chock full of history, and staffed by kind and considerate people. Food beyond delicious, fireplace sitting room relaxing, porch beautiful with glorious views. Slept with the window wide open and woke to snow-covered trees, and got great advice about a return trip that is already on the schedule - cannot not go back - just too wonderful.
Sincerely,
Mount Rainier National Park
Majestic Mount Rainier is the highest peak in the Cascade Range and an active volcano with more glaciers than any other mountain in the United States. Just an hour's drive from Seattle, the park's wild landscape feels much further from civilization. The forests, parkland, wetlands, lakes and rivers offer 260 miles of trails and varied habitat to dozens of plant and animal species.

“The national park system is essential to preserving the diversity of our eco-system. Beyond that, it provides endless opportunities to create indelible, unique memories. Thank you to the tireless workers who make that possible, indoors and out.”
