I’ve been going to Yosemite since they’d drop the firefall from Glacier Point to Camp Curry below at night. A person would sing the Indian Love Song from below and someone answer from above. It was at night, like a mystical dream for us below. It was heavenly, an experience that lasts a lifetime. It was dropped because of the danger of causing a fire. Sadly. I will always remember it, with a catch in my throat.
Sincerely,
Yosemite National Park
