Homage Recognized by National Parks Conservation Association with National Park Defender Award

NPCA names partner recipient of annual award in honor of commitment to national park protection.

WASHINGTON – Today, in celebration of Earth Day, National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) has named HOMAGE the recipient of its fifth annual National Park Defender award.

This award, given out each April during National Park Week, highlights and thanks a partner who goes above and beyond to create lasting impact in park protection, through authentic partnership with NPCA and by educating and empowering its consumers to take action.

An NPCA partner since 2022, HOMAGE has generously donated more than $36,000 to further NPCA’s mission and national park conservation efforts. Proceeds of every purchase from its National Parks Collection benefit NPCA’s mission in a collective effort to protect places of unparalleled natural wonder, historical significance and cultural value.

“The HOMAGE team is grateful to support the work of the National Parks Conservation Association and to be named NPCA’s recipient of the National Park Defender Award,” said Mark Jaworski, director, marketing operations of HOMAGE. “Contributing to the protection of our national parks is a natural extension of our commitment to storytelling and giving that is essential to the HOMAGE brand. We wouldn’t be able to support NPCA’s mission without such a passionate group of brand loyalists and so it’s truly meaningful to be able to connect our audience directly to such a great cause and organization.”

Beyond its financial contributions, HOMAGE consistently uses its voice and platform to educate, inspire and encourage consumers to take action alongside NPCA. HOMAGE regularly shares national park news, impact opportunities and victories with its consumers – whether educating the public around clean air and its impact on parks, to supporting the Great American Outdoors Act, to generating more than 6,000 signatures on NPCA’s action alert for Chuckwalla National Monument and Joshua Tree expansion. Their continued partnership strengthens our collective impact.

“Our national parks are currently facing the greatest threats we’ve ever seen,” said Theresa Pierno, president and CEO of National Parks Conservation Association. “Now more than ever it’s critical for us to come together to educate and empower advocates across the country so they can take action and support our national parks. We are incredibly proud to recognize the work HOMAGE is doing to advance these efforts alongside NPCA, in addition to their financial support of our mission.”
