National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is a charitable organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt from taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 53-0225165).
NPCA was formed as a nonprofit corporation in the District of Columbia in 1919. Our purpose is to protect and enhance America’s National Park System for present and future generations. Contributions to NPCA are deductible for federal income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law. The fair market value of an annual subscription to the National Parks magazine is $11.80. NPCA publishes detailed financial summary information as part of our annual reports, financial reports, and IRS Form 990 returns.
