Michelle Wang is a Finance Manager at GE HealthCare, which is headquartered in Chicago and is a leading provider of medical technologies and services and their mission is to make healthcare better for the future wellbeing of everyone on the planet.
Michelle graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Sustainability Studies. During her studies, she was a leader of Net Impact, a nonprofit membership organization for students and professionals interested in using business skills in support of various social and environmental causes. She also served on the Environmental Justice committee and worked on bringing sustainability into the school’s curriculum along with local organizations, including the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute. Michelle grew up near the Twin Cities and went on many road trips and camping trips to national and state parks, her favorite being Glacier National Park. She has also been an active volunteer through programs benefiting Voyageurs National Park and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, including NPCA’s tree-planting effort with the Rainy Lake Sportfishing Club.
