Michelle Uberuaga has worked as an environmental attorney, community organizer and advocate in Montana since 2005, and currently serves as NPCA’s Senior Program Manager for the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Michelle came to NPCA in 2024, after serving as the Executive Director of the Park County Environmental Council, a community organization in Yellowstone’s northern gateway. Michelle grew up in park service housing in Mount Rainier National Park. She now resides in Livingston, MT, with her husband, three kids, and her large Basque family. Like most NPCA staff, Michelle restores her soul by spending time in the wild.
