Lydia Heisel is from Austin, Texas, and has recently graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, majoring in history and environmental studies, and minoring in museum studies.
She spent two years on NPCA’s Texas Young Leaders Advocacy Council, volunteering and championing national parks. She has interned at nonprofits for national and city parks and served an AmeriCorps term doing conservation work. Now, Lydia is a graduate student pursuing her master’s in parks, recreation, and tourism at Clemson University in South Carolina. She is so excited to continue working with NPCA and be a voice for our national parks from the Southeast.
