As staff writer on the Communications team, Linda Coutant manages the Park Advocate blog and coordinates the monthly Park Notes e-newsletter distributed to NPCA’s members and supporters.
She joined NPCA in summer 2022 after a 27-year career in higher education public relations and marketing, during which she earned a Doctor of Education degree. She helps NPCA’s Communications team with editorial planning, collaboration, editorial support and content creation.
An avid hiker and lifelong learner, she has visited nearly a third of the 63 national parks and many of the 400+ national park sites. She is also a certified forest therapy guide and meditation teacher. When she’s not working as a storyteller for the parks, Linda can be found leading forest therapy walks or quietly meditating under a tree.
