Laura Connors joined NPCA – and really started her career - in 1998 as an assistant in the Membership department. Since then, she has held a variety of positions in the Membership department before becoming Senior Vice President in 2022.
In all of those roles, Laura and her team have worked to connect NPCA’s members with the wonders of our national parks and the challenges that threaten these special places – and helped raise many millions of dollars for NPCA to carry out its work. Laura holds a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Roanoke College, which instilled a love for the scientific method that she still uses in her work. Spending many childhood vacations visiting battlefields and historic sites in her home state of Virginia has made her a life-long park junkie, and she never misses a chance to visit a new — or old and familiar — national park.
