Kayuri Bhimani is a Senior Investment Associate with Blue Haven Initiative, an organization operating at the intersection of climate action, emerging markets, and impact.
In this role, Kayuri works with entrepreneurs whose innovations spur positive social and environmental change and supports the development of Blue Haven’s climate action investment strategy. An experienced investor and advisor focused on supporting early-stage startups, she is particularly interested in funding founders of color and women who have historically been left out of the capital raising ecosystem.
Kayuri is passionate about supporting grassroots solutions to the largest problems affecting our world today and transitioning to systems that are equitable and community driven across both an economic and political landscape, with a particular focus on climate action and its intersection with climate justice.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, living in the woods in New England for 4 years instilled a love of nature in Kayuri she carries forward to this day. She has experienced firsthand the power of connecting with nature and believes in the power of national parks to do this for all, while recognizing the barriers that many people of color face in this interaction. Through her work with the NPCA Next Generation Advisory Council, she aims to show people of all backgrounds diverse ways of interacting with our national parks to overcome this barrier of feeling like you do not belong and cultivate the next generation of parks enthusiasts.
