Jennifer Quintero is a Miami native with a deep passion for environmental education and conservation. As a fellow with the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), she supports the Suncoast Regional Office in advocating for the restoration and protection of Everglades National Park and the greater Everglades ecosystem.
Jennifer earned her master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Florida International University, where she conducted research on migratory songbird trends. During her graduate studies, she also served on NPCA’s Young Leaders Council, contributing to advocacy and outreach efforts.
With experience as a park ranger in both Everglades and Yosemite National Parks, Jennifer has witnessed firsthand the importance of preserving these landscapes and the stories they hold. In her free time, she enjoys birding, hiking, and reading.
