Dan manages NPCA’s conservation campaigns focusing on Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE).
His work focuses on iconic Yellowstone species, including grizzly bears and bison. Additionally, he works on visitor experience in and around Yellowstone National Park as well as wildlife -vehicle collision and crossing mitigation work on key roadways in the GYE. Born and raised in Wyoming and living his entire adult life in Montana, Dan brings a unique perspective to the issues and opportunities that encompass living in the shadow of Yellowstone National Park. He joined NPCA in 2019.
