As the Senior Coordinator, Cheryl oversees administrative functions of the Sun Coast office, and supports the regional and national program efforts while embodying a positive and productive character as part of the Sun Coast team.

Cheryl is instrumental in cultivating partnerships with community groups and young advocates. Most recently she has served a leadership role in conceptualizing and launching our emerging Young Leaders Council. She has also expanded our programmatic work to include telling lesser-known stories of the Saltwater Underground Railroad in South Florida. She is a critical partner to the development work, from directly engaging donors and Regional Council members for meetings and trips. Cheryl hails from Jamaica, and her favorite national park in the U.S. is Biscayne National Park.
