A Midwestern girl at heart, Anna found her home in Western North Carolina almost a decade ago; trading the vast cornfields for the rolling peaks of the Blue Ridge mountains. As an experienced nonprofit professional, Anna is passionate about connecting with her community and educating on the importance of allyship, conservation, and historical preservation.
Currently, Anna works as the Marketing & Communications Specialist for Capstone Health Alliance, where she assists local and rural communities in reducing healthcare costs. With her combined archaeological degree, outdoor education nonprofit experience, and current marketing career, Anna’s lifelong goal is to bridge these disciplines and promote civic awareness on underrepresented topics in the outdoor industries.
