Allison joined the National Park Conservation Association’s team in 2024 to serve as the Northern Rockies Regional Office’s Northern Rockies Connectivity Program Manager.

Allison Michalski, a native of New Jersey, discovered her passion for environmental conservation early in life. Inspired by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains during a trip to Colorado in 2004, Allison set out to study and practice environmental law. She earned her undergraduate degree from Maine’s Colby College in 2008, followed by a Juris Doctor and then a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School in 2013.

Upon completing her education in 2013, Allison’s journey led her to Driggs, Idaho, where she began as a legal intern and then became Outreach Coordinator for Friends of the Teton River. Continuing her commitment to environmental conservation, Allison joined the Greater Yellowstone Coalition in 2017 and worked as Senior Idaho Conservation Associate for nearly seven years.

When she isn’t working to protect the places she loves, Allison is sure to be enjoying these very same places with her husband and dogs on a run, bike, paddle, hike, or ski.
