After unusually early snowfall in September 2014 and a night at Many Glacier Hotel, I hiked in this stunning scenery with a friend from the UK, whilst two friends from Montana did a road tour. It was beyond stunning…..blue skies….snow…clear, clean air. I have been to Yellowstone several times and love it there too.
I do not get to hike in wild, bold scenery like this in my home area of Oxfordshire, England.
Sincerely,
Glacier National Park

“I support national parks because they preserve this beautiful pristine landscape that is so very special. They give a home to wildlife and a chance for people to experience the wilderness at its best: to stop, breathe and take in the magnificence all around us. It is a gift beyond measure. Keep up the good work. ”
