When I was a resident of Los Angeles I had the good fortune of visiting Yellowstone and Yosemite over the years.
Those visitations inspired me visually because of the grandeur and majesty of the settings.
They also reinforced my activism in conservation programs of which I was already a member.
There was also a social aspect in that each visitor was experiencing and sharing the same awe and wonder individually and in unison with others.
We must preserve these magical environments for future generations!

Yellowstone National Park
America's first national park is named after the river that runs through it. Within the park's massive boundaries, visitors can find mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and some of the most concentrated geothermal activity in the world. The park has 60% of the world’s geysers, as well as hot springs and mud pots. It is also home to diverse wildlife with the largest concentration of mammals in the Lower 48 states, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.
