My wife and I were at the Grand Teton National Park around April of 2007. Se saw this Grizzly Bear. I drove around a little hill so I could see it. I parked my truck and walked further in. I saw the Grizzly Bear. I took some pictures of it. I was about 100’ away from it. Then, this little cub popped up about 10’ in back of her. The vegetation had hid the cub. I had no idea the cub was there. I took a picture of the cub. My wife had stayed in the truck as I had set out on foot to see the bear. You should of seen her face when she saw the cub!

This spectacular destination preserves a dramatic stretch of the Teton Range bordering the Snake River. One of the unusual features of these distinctive mountains is the absence of foothills, meaning that there are no smaller mountains blocking the view. The park also features glacier-carved lakes, a historic district of weathered buildings made by 19th century Mormon homesteaders, and an abundance of wildlife large and small, including nearly 1,000 bison that roam the grassy fields in herds.
