After a very rough patch in my life I decided I needed a change of pace. I wasn’t i peace with myself at all anymore. That’s when I went across the United States in a Greyhound bus. And when I came across the Grand Canyon - the same National Park I had visited two years before, just short of when my troubles began - I immediately felt that same calm that came over me when I first saw its beauty back in 2010. It was like all the stress, the restlessness, everything bad got sucked right out of me. And as I made my journey down Bright Angel Trail, I began to feel inspired again. Something I hadn’t felt in a long, long time. It’s amazing what nature can do to you. My experiece (and hopefully the many more to come) now reminds me every day of how it’s always a goo idea to just step back a little, relax and pay mother nature a good, long visit whenever you get the feeling that something in your life might need fixing.
Sincerely,
Grand Canyon National Park
America’s Southwest is full of breathtaking canyons, but none as famous or as widely visited as the Grand Canyon. This world-famous landmark offers wondrous views, spectacular hiking, exhilarating whitewater rafting and countless adventures. One look across the enormous chasm confirms just why this inspirational place is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and a must-see destination for so many travelers. The park also protects a wealth of biological diversity, including numerous endemic and threatened species and several rare ecosystems.
