Greetings from Yosemite National Park

Our whole family took a trip to Yosemite and it was amazing. The kids loved exploring the trails and we all got to bond as a family. Just getting to the parks just really helps connect with nature and also really unwind. We all felt a great connection to each other and to the earth on this amazing trip. The amazing vistas, trails, trees, and animals are really special. Can’t wait to get back there!

Sincerely,
Peter

Yosemite National Park

With its sculpted granite rock formations, towering ancient sequoia trees and spectacular waterfalls, it's no wonder Yosemite is one of the most celebrated national parks in the world.

State(s): California

Established: 1890

“The parks allow us to connect with the earth and each other. They are such special places and we should protect them at all costs. The parks have been neglected and we should make sure they have our support. They allow families to take amazing trips without spending a fortune. We must preserve them for our children and all future generations.”

National parks represent the best of America. Why do you care about protecting and preserving them? Tell us why parks matter to you!
