Greetings from Yellowstone National Park

Four of us hiked the 2 miles up to Lone Star Geyser. A predictable geyser in that it erupts about every 3 hours. A small log book is there for people to document eruptions and upon inspection it looked like we had just missed an eruption. So my friend and I left our wives at the geyser and decided to continue up the trail a little further. After a couple of minutes we could hear the geyser erupting and ran back down the trail. What we thought was misfortune in missing the geyser allowed us to see it from a better angle and capture a nice rainbow from the falling water.

Sincerely,
Roy
