My husband and I took an extensive trip with our small travel trailer in June. We visited Mesa Verde, Canyon de Chelly, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Monument and Great Sand Dunes National Monument. We completed the trip by getting one of the last camping spots in Yellowstone. As we are well into our senior years, we drove and took easy hikes, saw wild life, uncountable stars and amazing vistas. These parks were a wonderful and varied experience. Our park system is indeed a National Treasure.
Sincerely,
Yellowstone National Park

Within the park's massive boundaries, visitors can find mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and some of the most concentrated geothermal activity in the world. The park has 60% of the world’s geysers, as well as hot springs and mud pots. It is also home to diverse wildlife with the largest concentration of mammals in the Lower 48 states, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.
