We have made 2 trips to Yellowstone Park, each with its own unique experiences. Out 2nd trip was strictly in the northern end of the park, where it was less crowded. Driving through Lamar Valley during dusk was the best. We saw hundreds of bison! There were many adorable babies, being guided by adults. We could hear them calling to each other, in the process of splitting into groups and leaving the valley. The young bison were “wrestling” each other. It was a wonderful experience!
Sincerely,
Yellowstone National Park
America's first national park is named after the river that runs through it. Within the park's massive boundaries, visitors can find mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and some of the most concentrated geothermal activity in the world. The park has 60% of the world’s geysers, as well as hot springs and mud pots. It is also home to diverse wildlife with the largest concentration of mammals in the Lower 48 states, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.

“It is important to preserve parts of our land, for the animals to have a large habitat to live in, but also for people to experience nature. Through personal experiences, maybe people will realize the importance of preserving parts of this planet.”
