My wife and I did what every American should do, we traveled the country for the summer and visited 14 of our National Parks during our two and a half month trip. We went to the North Rim, Zion, Bryce, Death Valley, Yosemite, Redwoods, Olympic, Glacier, Yellowstone, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Rocky Mountain, Great Smokey Mountains, Shenandoah. There was so much to see and learn at all of these parks. We saw wildlife we never thought we would see and some that we did not even know existed. We hiked miles and miles in most of the parks sometimes not seeing any people and really being able to enjoy the true nature that the parks have to offer. We would make it a point to learn about every park and its history, something that we both wish they taught in history class growing up. Our favorite hike was in Glacier. We hiked up to a glacier, something we did not think you could do unless you went to Alaska before we went on this trip. We didn’t only learn about the parks and the nature of the parks. We learned a lot about each other and even little things like starting a fire with green wood. We both love the parks so much and want to see more of them. We have even thought of working in the parks. The American people need to go out and see the beauty that our country has to offer. Don’t keep putting it off, just take some time off and go explore the true beauty of this country and spend some time with your family.
Sincerely,
