I ventured out to the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park. The weather was still showing its beauty as my friends and I stepped on the beach of this little marina. We got to enjoy the sand between our toes, surrounded by families and others playing in the water. This was a great example of a place to take children, with clean sand and a safe place to swim in the bay. There were a lot of tourists circling the beach in their big groups, even a couple groups on segways which was also a tour which seemed fun to be a part of. I loved the atmosphere of the beach, kind and open, because when we started playing frisbee on the beach, other people joined in with us. We had about ten people playing at one time. I had such a fun filled day and i am glad to have an easily accessible national historical park that is also a protected and well maintained beach. It seemed that the Historical Center was under construction and no one was visiting it. I am definitely coming back with my friends again so we can enjoy this blissful beach within the busy city. #SFSU
Sincerely,
