When I was a child, my father and mother often took the family to Camp Curry in the Yosemite Valley. We stayed in cabins and took walks to see Yosemite Falls and Bridle Veil Falls. We also waited on many an evening to see the “fire falls.” This was an amazing shower of coals that were pushed off the edge of a cliff far above Camp Curry. In later years, I often hiked in the back country of Yosemite. On one memorable trip, two of my brothers and I hiked up Little Yosemite Valley, over Vogelsang Pass, down to Tuolumne Meadows, down to Waterwheel Falls, up to May Lake, before descending back down to Yosemite Valley. A wonderful hike I will never forget.
Sincerely,
