My husband, Josh, and I were married this past May. Knowing that we wanted to go somewhere totally new to us for our honeymoon, we ended up deciding on Montana (we’re from Georgia). Once we did a little more research, we knew we would HAVE to go to Glacier National Park. Honestly, I think we were more excited about our trip than our actual wedding day. Well, Glacier did NOT disappoint! We had ridiculously high expectations, and they were still blown out of the water. What an amazing place! Our first day, we hiked the Trail of the Cedars and the trail to Avalanche Lake– absolutely breathtaking! I literally cried when we got to Avalanche Lake. I just couldn’t believe that what I was looking at was real. If there’s ever been a place that showcases God’s amazing creations, it’s this land. Glacier National Park will forever hold a place in both of our hearts, and we have vowed to return to this beautiful land.
Sincerely,
Glacier National Park

“They are something bigger than all of us. The parks really are national treasures. They have something for everyone-- from the weekend hiker to a hardcore back-country camper, from city slickers to families with small children. The parks remind us of the beauty of our nation, and why we should take care of the land. ”
