On July 9, 2014, my husband and I visited the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument (where Custer’s Last Stand took place). We took a guided tour of the area and were fascinated at what we learned and what actually happened during that battle. It was incredibly interesting and educational.

This site commemorates the June 25, 1876 battle between the U.S. Army's seventh cavalry, guided by Crow and Arikara scouts, and several bands of Lakota Sioux, Cheyenne, and Arapaho. The park includes battlefields, a cemetery, and trails to hike along with history.
