My dad took me to mesa verde when I was 6. I had a photo of me in a kiva and last summer went back to find the kiva. We could no longer enter but it was fun to share with my parents who introduced me to our fabulous National Park System.
Sincerely,
Mesa Verde National Park
This World Heritage Site preserves more than 600 cliff dwellings typical of the Ancestral Puebloan culture, which lasted from about 450 to 1300. The allure of this park is not only the remarkable ruins, but also the mystery of the people who inhabited them.
