I’ve traveled extensively all my life, but one of my favorite trips was when - as a birthday present to myself - I took 10 days off and flew to Jackson Hole to explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. To this day, it’s a highlight of my life. I love our national parks - I’ve been to Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Canyon de Chelly, Shenandoah, Acadia, Petrified Forest, you name it - but this trip I took by myself to Yellowstone was especially magical and one day… I hope to do it again!
Sincerely,
Yellowstone National Park
America's first national park is named after the river that runs through it. Within the park's massive boundaries, visitors can find mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and some of the most concentrated geothermal activity in the world. The park has 60% of the world’s geysers, as well as hot springs and mud pots. It is also home to diverse wildlife with the largest concentration of mammals in the Lower 48 states, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.
