This summer, my friends and I held our annual camping trip in New River Gorge National Park. As young adults, (some of us are still students) a lot of vacation spots are out of our price range, but public lands like national parks allow us to spend time together without breaking the bank. Camping allowed us to save a lot on lodging, and we were even able to splurge on a white water rafting trip. We all loved it! This photo was taken at the Diamond Point overlook.
Sincerely,
New River Gorge National Park & Preserve

“Public lands provide affordable recreation for all! I also believe that it’s important to preserve land for plants and animals - the earth is not just for humans! We all coexist on one planet and need to keep it healthy for all forms of life.”
