West Glacier Community Visioning

West Glacier is the doorstep to Glacier National Park. The natural surroundings, historic character and unique setting make it a special place for visitors and residents alike.

Increasing visitation to Glacier, development in the area and landownership changes have put this special place at risk. Now is the time to set a vision for West Glacier that protects its natural aesthetics and character while meeting visitor and resident needs.

The National Parks Conservation Association successfully acquired a technical assistance grant from the Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) program, the community assistance branch of the National Park Service. Through a series of community meetings, stakeholder focus groups and an online interactive website, we are working to build a vision for West Glacier.

This is the first public meeting and we need your vision for West Glacier to be a part of it!
