You’re invited to join NPCA in an evening celebration at one of our star national parks, Fort Davis National Historic Site. Come to West Texas to hear youth volunteers share their park stories, attend a screening of "The National Parks of Texas: In Contact with Beauty" and enjoy an evening lantern tour of the park.
Experience the historic viewshed surrounding the park that NPCA worked to protect through partnership with local landowners, conservation organizations and the park. Explore one of the best surviving examples of an Indian Wars frontier post, learn about the historical architecture and military history, and hike trails at the base of the Davis Mountains.
This is one of many events planned across Texas this year to celebrate NPCA’s centennial year and share appreciation for the advocacy efforts of our more than 1.3 million members and supporters.
