National Public Lands Day at Petrified Forest

Join us in Arizona for National Public Lands Day on Sep. 30!

Everyone is invited to help Petrified Forest National Park with two projects at park headquarters for National Public Lands Day.

One project will be converting the former fire engine bay into a warehouse by removing all the building’s contents (the fire engine is already gone), and then assembling and placing new heavy-duty shelving.

The other project will be to return the main plaza back to its original white by painting stucco.
