Join the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) at Katabatic Brewing on Tuesday, October 18 to support NPCA’s work to help Yellowstone pronghorn antelope.
For every pint ordered, Katabatic Brewing will donate $1 towards NPCA’s efforts to reconnect the pronghorn of Yellowstone National Park to historic migration pathways.
Each fall, Yellowstone pronghorn antelope migrate beyond park borders to reach important winter habitat in Montana’s Gardiner Basin and Paradise Valley. Unlike elk and deer, pronghorn do not easily jump and often turn back when faced with fence barriers. Fences north and west of Yellowstone have significantly reduced the herd’s ability to reach historic winter habitat, negatively impacting the health of the herd. Luckily, since 2010, NPCA has worked with private landowners, public land managers and hundreds of volunteers to remove or modify more than 25 miles of fencing, allowing the animals more room to roam.
Join us at Katabatic to celebrate the completion of NPCA’s 7th fence removal or modification season. Test your national park knowledge with trivia questions and enter a raffle for door prizes. Connect with fellow national park supporters and learn more about NPCA’s work to protect Yellowstone, within and outside its boundaries.
